Columbus Regional
Airport Authority Logos
What, exactly, does the logo of the Columbus Regional
Airport Authority represent? It is the combination of
a sail, signifying a sail from the ship of our city's
namesake Christopher Columbus, overlapped by the tail
of an airplane. Symbolically communicated by the logo,
these two entities are forever intertwined. The growth
of the City of Columbus is forever linked to the growth
of the Airport Authority, and vice versa.
To protect the symbolism of the logo and the brand
identify of the Airport Authority, the following was
designed to properly explain and document the correct
format and style of the logo to be used by CRAA staff
in addition to our vendors and consultants. There are
three versions of the logo which differ only by the
design of the accompanying text.
