The Direct Connections Program is your
ticket to first-class business opportunities. The Columbus
Regional Airport Authority recognizes the value of working
with a diverse group of local business partners and, therefore,
has established the Direct Connections Program.
Providing opportunities for companies to introduce
themselves to airport decision-makers and foster relationships
in support of future projects, the Direct Connections
program applies to Port Columbus, Rickenbacker and Bolton
Field airports. The primary goal of the program is to
create an elevated familiarity with a diverse base of
local businesses, including small and minority-owned
firms that previously have not worked directly with
the Airport Authority.
The Airport Authority seeks to obtain services of the
highest quality from a wide selection of providers.
Some of the services frequently contracted include engineering,
design, architecture, and printing.

Business partners are evaluated on many
different criteria. Those selected must have been in
business for a minimum of three years and meet or exceed
the high standards of quality for the needed service.
Other criteria include competitive pricing, insurance
and indemnification requirements, and financial standing.
Companies meeting these requirements, with an interest
in conducting business with the Airport Authority, may
